OUR HISTORY
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
Welcome to Rice & Beans 603.
Tony Elias, the proud owner of Rice & Beans 603, humbly started his journey crafting delicious plates from a home kitchen in 2009. After that endeavor expanded, he moved to a food trailer in 2014 called “Made with Love.” Next, he set his sights on a dream of owning a drivable food truck called “Spot To Go Food Truck.” Now in 2025, that dream has grew into something bigger. We now have our very own restaurant serving authentic, takeout style Puerto Rican food in the center of Downtown Nashua on 241 Main Street; across from the CVS.
We’ve always stayed true to our roots, serving bold flavors and heartfelt meals. So if you’re in the mood for authentic, soul satisfying, comfort food, we are the go to spot. Thank you for all the support every step of the way. We are elated that you choose to dine with us and intend to keep serving the most delicious, fresh, feel-good, homemade foods!

I finally got to check out rice and beans 603 with my son today, and let me tell you, it was so worth the wait. I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while now after reading tons of great reviews. As a Puerto Rican woman, I’m always on the lookout for authentic Rican food, and this place definitely delivered. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, a super friendly guy who actually recognized me from school! That made the experience even better. It felt so good to see a fellow Puerto Rican, and a Nashua native at that, owning and running a business right here in our community. I felt proud and genuinely happy for him. The menu was simple, clear, and filled with all the classics. If you’re Puerto Rican, you’ll instantly recognize everything on it. I was torn between getting a plate of arroz con gandules with meat or a jibarito. The owner recommended the jibarito, so I went with that. My son got the arroz con gandules with bistec encebollado (steak and onions), and we both started with beef and cheese pastelillos (aka empanadas to most). The moment we took our first bites, our faces lit up. Hands down, this was the most delicious Puerto Rican food I’ve had in a long time besides my own, of course 😜. The rice was fluffy, the meat flavorful, and every bite took me straight back to Puerto Rico. And then came the jibarito… oh my God. Heaven. The tostones were crispy and perfectly cooked, not greasy or soggy at all. The pernil inside was tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. If I had one tiny complaint, it’s that I wish there had been just a bit more meat with the rice, but only because it was that good. We left completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit. If you haven’t been to Rice & Beans603 yet, please do yourself a favor and check it out. The service was amazing. The owner was the only one working, and even though he let us know there would be a 25-minute wait due to other orders, I didn’t mind at all. My only regret? Not tipping him more, it was absolutely worth every dollar spent.Posted on L. TrinhTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hidden gem! We were craving Latin food and this spot hit the mark. The Canoa was flavorful and satisfying, the Caribbean sliders were fun and tasty, and the pastelitos were flaky, crispy, and packed with filling. Everything was fresh and made to order. Can’t wait to come back and try more!Posted on N SLTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is great and has amazing food. My only feedback is that it’s extremely difficult to reach them by phone to place an order. Sometimes I don’t have enough time to go in person and wait for my order.Posted on Steffany HernandezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Incredible food and the owner is the nicest guy. Empanadas, canoa, and mofongo burrito are all ridiculously good (and make sure you try the homemade hot sauce!) 🔥Posted on LuciaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
